No shit. I thinkhe has a decent year but still a ton of $ wasted.

AP hitting his stride. Hawk didn't have enough for that.

The ump crew tonight is shit.

If he gives you 190 innings of 4.5 ERA it's a huge win.

You're hoping for this, IMO

Carpenter: 215 IP, 3.00 ERA
Westbrook: 220 IP, 4.00 ERA
Lohse: 190 IP, 4.50 ERA
Garcia: 180 IP, 3.50 ERA
McLellan: 180 IP, 4.00 ERA

At this point, I'm stunned by Garcia's start, and about ready to munch on some crow, but I'm still hoping for something like the above.

If you factor in extra innings, that means you need 500 innings from your BP+spot starters throughout the year. We got even more than that from them last year.

Very bad but at least equally bad. Screwing the Cards on the field and LA at the plate.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-15-2011 10:30 PM

That's the best pitch I've seen Lohse throw in 2 years.

Yadi w/ an infield single...ROFL

Yep. How the **** can that ball be called fair?

Edit: They also blew a play at first, but I'm blanking if it was the Cards or Dodgers who were ****ed by that.

What about the bullpen?

Cards on the one I am thinking of. AP was arguing.

It still sucks, but there's not too much you can do about it. The guy who should be our closer is in Cleveland. Sanchez and Salas always looked like the real deal, and short term returns are good there.

Maybe you can pick something else down the line.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-15-2011 10:52 PM

This is why people hating on Rasmus are dumbasses.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-15-2011 11:07 PM

Tyler Greene with a couple of RBIs. Nice work.

"[The Cardinals have] had 14 or more hits in five consecutive games for the first time since Aug. 31-Sept. 7, 1930, when they did so in six straight."

I think that is a good way to say this is one huge outlier in offensive production. Hope I'm wrong as hell though.
