In the last 2 3/4 games, since the 3 TO's in 3 plays by Palko, he is 46-84 for 468 yards with 2 TD's and 2 INT's. The 468 yards in 2 3/4 games comes out to right at 170 yards a game. Those 3 games are against the Steelers, Bears, and Jets defenses. In 9 starts, Cassel was 160-269 for 1713 yards with 10 TD's and 9 INT's. The yardage per game comes out pretty much right at 190 yards a game against defenses that are probably not quite as good as the last 3 Palko has went up against. That says Cassel is pretty much backup material as well. Both need to go as soon as the final gun goes off on January 1st. |

What would Weis' offense look like without Charles? Without Charles AND with either Stanzi or Palko as your starter? |

Matt Cassel played atrocious. Which again brings us back to the original problem. That this is a problem of the QB not executing the plays on the field. |
People conveniently forget about the O before Charles went down against Det.

Cassel = Exhibit A |

I think he knows how to design an offense based around his QB's strengths and avoiding their weakness. Something Haley and Muir dont have a ****ing clue about. |
