I thought it was 3rd down. Oh well, I loathe Brady but I think it was lame he didn't get the record. Not sure how many opportunities he or anyone else will have. Seems like it takes playing a totally shit opponent or the AFC West.

Because it is one step closer to proving that you can't win without a legit starting QB (not Matt Cassel).

I actually thought Tebow didn't play that horribly last night. He certainly wasn't very good, but it's not like he had a lot of time. The Broncos' O-line made the Patriots defense look like the '85 Bears. He barely had time to go back to pass, never mind get one off. He has only one legitimate receiving threat on that team, and they couldn't even manage to let him heave one deep ball towards those supposedly-horrific Patriot cornerbacks.

Besides, Tebow doesn't play defense, and the Broncos D also forgot to board the plane apparently. Brady could've gotten a handjob from Gisele with the time he had in the pocket, and they couldn't cover Mongo at TE even though everyone knew that's where the ball was going.

If forced to list the order of Fail for Denver, I'd put it:

1.) Defense
2.) O-line
3.) coaching
4.) Tebow

I totally agree he had little time and it would have mattered little who was playing QB. The Patriots brought it hard last night. That said the only pass this guy can throw consistently is rolling out left with an inside slant pattern bringing the target in the direction of his right shoulder.
He was still erratic and bouncing balls off the ground, over throwing and under throwing. As has been said by many if he continues to run he is going to get got. He was popped pretty good a couple times last night. How anyone can watch a 2nd year QB with this many flaws and take him serious is beyond me~

Shocked that SlowMo hasn't showed up to take his medicine, shocked I tell ya.

Regarding the O-line - the Patriots brought it and defended the college style offense like it's supposed to be defended. They did not buy any fakes and covered options and exposed the hazards of running that type an offense in the NFL. The Broncos are out of options when they can't effectively run the football. It gets even worse for them if they fall behind big early. They did. Game over.

Exactly. All of Denver's problems offensively start with the goober behind center. He's the reason they run the offense they do and the reason they are screwed by playing that offense. Like I said all week, Belichick adjusted the first game after the first quarter and it was game over then. Give him another look and a one dimensional offense has no chance. Thier defense feasted on the weak, but when tested by quality opponents (that weren't gimpy) the games were over by halftime. Hell, I put my posting here forever on the line against nothing just for fun because I was so sure of it.

He was laid out on more than a few occasions. Ty Warren (I think) got his ass good, I laughed.

Well got the Niners game right (by the skin of my teeth), and the Patriots (unfortunately). Not being a Broncos fan, I have to say, despite it's overwhelming performance by the Pats Offense. At the same time, Classless, to run a score up closing out the first half when up by 4 TD's. Thought I'd seen it all, but professional courtesy goes out the window in this, today's NFL. Stay Classy New England.

There was nothing wrong with what New England did last night. I bet the Houston Oilers back in the day wished they'd have piled on a few more TD's against the Bills in that epic playoff game.

It's the playoffs, anything can happen, and there was a lot of time left on the clock for a comeback. New England could have scored 60 last night. They did let up on the gas until the end of the third quarter, which seems perfectly fine to me. Score was only 35-10 at the half....and a team could easily get four TD's in a half to come back. New England only scored 10 points in the second half. I have no love for the Pats, but I don't really think anyone can accuse them of running up the score in this instance.
