Cassel, like it or not, is the starter. Quinn is gonna have to be that much better and hope Cassel gets hurt or plays terrible.

Look at our opening stretch and try to remember Matt Cassel against the types of defenses he will be facing every week to open the season.

Falcons have a good pass rush and really good corners.
The Bills pass rush is gonna be very very good and they have some playmakers in the secondary
The Saints are gonna put up points that Cassel is gonna have to match with his arm.
The Chargers defense added a few nice pieces and Rivers will put up points Cassels arm will need to keep up with
ravens
The buccaneers arent top shelf good, but they have a good DL and LBs and their offense should be able to put points on the board.

Its not out of the question that by the bye week, Cassel will have played himself out of the starters spot.

I've yet to read an answer as to why some are thinking he has a chance to be good, other than he was good in college?

So did Tim Tebow, Jimmy Clausen, Rick Stanzi etc.

Whats your point?

Didn't call him a pussy.

Did I...?

You simply elaborated on what I was saying.

Thank you.

You implied that Cassel is injury prone and Quinn will more than likely have a chance to start. This is false.

Your welcome.

How does one argue "he has a chance to be good"?

Doesn't he have to awarded an opportunity before he can be judged?

Didn't he have a chance in Cleveland and Denver?

So by saying he was good in college, it somehow rules out that all those other guys were also good in college how?

He accomplished more than Matt Cassel.

That is ALL I said.

If you want to make more out of the statement and cry over it, go for it...

So by stating that he did more than Matt Cassel in college, somehow means he will turn out to be a good quarterback?

That's not fair and you know it.

There are lots of things to clown Cassel on, being physically tough isn't one of them.

To me, he is a mental pussy because the blitz destroys him.

As soon as he feels any pressure (real or not) he stops looking downfield almost immediately.
