*Rumor source #5: KC/KU media say MU doesn't want to go to the SEC. We'd rather go to the Big East with KU. They say we don't think the SEC is a good fit and like the idea of being able to win our conference regularly.
---------------------------------

actually i could see this happening, MU going to the Big East where they could dominate in football. In many ways MU would be a better fit for the Big East than KU. I mean KU goes into a bloodbath in basketball and a mediocre conference in football. KU ends up being just another team in BOTH sports. KU might be able to take another step in basketball but it would be tough as hell considering the competition.

KU has 10 times as many casual fans, but Nebraska has about as many who invest themselves emotionally in the games.

Yeah, they put a four loss team in a BCS Bowl last year - what bunch of ****ing turds. LMAO While I would worry what it would do to recruiting and my being able to watch games, I think it's pretty safe to say Missouri would be the Texas of that conference, and I could certainly live with it.

That's why your stadium was half red every time they played.

Liucci,'I've heard nothing about OU or Mizzou to the SEC. Barring a dramatic change, the Sooners will head West (Pac 12).'

Just because we don't want to spend money to watch a shitty team doesn't mean we aren't fans. I go to 1-2 games a year. About as many games i go to as a Royals and Chiefs. But continue to stamp your feet and pat yourself on the back while screaming red-faced to the world. You and your coach, both.

If Mizzou is willing to sacrifice BBall to be a football stud then it could work.

Mizzou loses recruiting in Texas but they are going to probably lose that anyone. Suck in BBall ... dominate in football.
