Anyway, with the ****ing non-stop pimping of the guy, I expected to see a sure-fire #1 overall guy, not what I saw.
And DJ's Left Nut suggested early on that their ****ing asshat of coach should be the Chiefs next Offensive Coordinator, to which I fully disagreed.

There are just too many ****ing homers here anymore and it's just too difficult to sort through them.

In my defense, I have already apologized for Holgorsen. Though I will say that he looked far more aggressive last season than he did this year. It was really strange to see him go "Full Yost" and cut his offense in half after Geno showed such aptitude in running it last season.
Holgorsen looks like he has some Martz in him. Probably a brilliant OC, but something of a mad-tinkerer that shouldn't be a HC. I think the moment gets too big for him and he retreats into a conservative shell, at least as conservative as you can with an Air-Raid offense.
Even the ardent Geno backers have been willing to discuss his flaws. I've been annoyed by his unwillingness to really step into a drive his throws all season. I do think he can focus too heavily on his first read sometimes (but that's what his offense calls for).
I was also pretty embarrassed by his behavior at the Pinstripe Bowl - it wasn't very becoming at all and it did show a petulant flash that you can't have in your QB.
he's still my #1 pick though. He does so many things that you don't teach (like the fact that he'll stand in there in the face of a blitz and take the hit to deliver the throw). He does have outstanding touch, though I still wonder what his true fastball and/or down-field range is. Like I said, because he doesn't drive his hips well, I can't think of a throw where he rocketed one into a closing window down-field. He'll need to prove he can do those things to be any more impressive than Matt Barkley.
I still think that's he's as good a prospect relative to his position as any player in this draft apart from Lotulelei, Werner and now Moore. And given our need at the position, I think he's a no-brainer.
