Ironically I have a similar story. Tore labrums in both of my shoulders playing football. Had scholarship offers at all of the Missouri MIAA and HAAC schools if I wanted to. But doctors told me my choice was to play football & have surgery or no surgery & heal naturally but couldnt play contact sports again. I chose not to have surgery. With two shoulders it would took me along time to recover from surgery.

Amazingly enough, I don't feel any better for having owned an idiot like this. Now run along, Gomer.

I knew he got run off of some other board by the way he came on here with such attitude. I accused him of being a Coalition reject and drew commentary from TBA. I figured the little twat bounced from board to board. Nice work, Buster.

I probably would have ended up at Missouri Southern, but I kept getting calls from Concordia (Chicago D3)

Turns out it didn't matter. The calls stopped quickly after they found out the extent of my injuries.

FS/SS.

I also punted and kicked in HS, and I think that was one of the reasons Concordia was interested.

So you broke your labia? Couldn't they just stitch it up?

They accidently stitched it to my leg, restricting my kicking motion.

Knocked 10 yards off my kicks.

Shame.

Poor assumption on your part.

I played from the time I was 6 years old, was recruited by a handful of smaller schools and then proceeded to tear up my knee and shoulder before getting offered. I couldn't afford to go to school without a scholarship, so my career ended. Probably good for me it happened that way, honestly.

Even then, I'm not sure why that matters.

Last I checked, our new HC has never played the game. He wanted to be a golf pro.

ahhhh the glory that is..... high school football

Nothing a little diarrhea wouldn't cure.

My HS coach said " Skip, you're not very big but you're slow"

How would his career be viewed if the Chiefs went 9-7 next year, won a playoff game, and then went to the Super Bowl the next (his last year)?

Just think about that for a minute.

The ONLY way the Chiefs go 9-7 in 2009 is if they trade most of their draft away for aging vets and sign a bunch of free agents.

The King is dead.

Long live the King?

I sure as **** hope not.
