Had you told me 2 months ago that the Cards would win the World Series, I would have called you a freakin idiot. These guys played their asses off and had the never say die attitude. Thank you Atlanta for choking and giving the hot team an opportunity to make a run into the playoffs with the momentum they had in September. This series was one of the best I've seen in quite a while, even better to watch it as a Cardinal fan. Every night somebody stepped up their game, whether it be Pujols with his 3 homerun night, or Freese with a triple and homerun when the team needed it the most late in game 6. This series is one for the books that I look forward to showing my 10 month old grandson in a few years.
