As soon as the 9th inning started the other night, this popped into my head. |

Honestly, if you were to trade Holliday, the place that makes the most sense is Boston, as Crawford is redundant with Ellsbury already there, the fanbase is ready to excoriate him, and he would be an excellent fit in our lineup, provided Tony would let him run. Otherwise, you could possibly spin Holliday to the Yankees for Nick Swisher, just hoping to rid yourself of the contract. |

Holliday has this cool little clause in his contract allowing him to camp out in St. Louis without a care in the world and collect a pay check.

Wait... What... He is a 25 year old pitcher who is a two time 13 game winner with a lifetime ERA under 3.3 he is inconsistent at times but he is 25 god damn years old. I would hate to see what you would say of a 25 year old Chris Carpenter or Cliff Lee |

Every offseason/trading deadline there's a ****ing flood of stupid "Trade Soriano to X for X." I guess the only hope one would have is the player would get sick of losing and waive the NTC to be dealt to a team on the verge. But, in Soriano's case, I don't think he gives a shit. |

Can some please explain to me the Holliday hate. I understand he had a shit World Series, but have we already forgot the LCS were he came up huge? He had dealt with injures most of the season yet still had a higher OBS and OPS then "King" Albert.

Batting average is a stupid ****ing statistic to use, BTW. |

In all honesty it tops the 06 championship in my eyes. And I was at the clinching game in 06. |
