Makes me sad that I'm probably going to have to pay full price for an international phone to keep the FM radio. Every time a phone makes it over to the US the FM radio disappears... ****ing carriers wanting more money for higher data plans. |
I just checked, the HTC one has the fm radio, at least my Sprint version

32GB With the HTC was plenty, but as stated earlier in the thread, there is no consensus among android fans |
I'm a phonewhore, too.
Partial to Samsung, but love HTC, also. Don't care about the FM radio. I can't decide between the One or the S4. |
The Note 3 should be announced on 9/3 with a late September/October ship date. I plan on buying that and selling my S3 on Ebay. The S3 sale should cover the year left I have on my contract.

I just want a good mid range phone with FM radio and a removable battery. I don't throw my phones out every year so I want something that I can swap the battery out when it loses its ability to hold a charge. And I don't need something thats 5"+ with a 1080p screen with a quad core and 64gb of ram. I'm probably gonna try and hold out for one more year and pay full price for the Xperia ZR when it drops a bit in price, unless something similar or better comes out on AT&T with a subsidized price. It's the only phone that meets pretty much everything I'm looking for with the added bonus of being water/dust resistant which I dont particularly care about but w/e, I'll take it. |
The Moto X is nicer than people give it credit for. People get super into specs, but I'll bet it runs just as well if not better than latest from HTC and Samsung. The benefits of no skins on top.
My only disappointment is them getting into bed with the carriers. Same exclusivity, bloat, and pricing nonsense. |
Note 3 should be a very nice phone...waiting for that one!
|
I wonder if LG will follow in the footsteps of HTC and Samsung and make a "mini" version of its G2 somewhere in the 4.3" range. Has some pretty nice specs and offers a removable battery, the volume rocker is kinda weird though.

My guess is that by 2015 every phone will have this in place. AH! This makes for an interesting game... what phone tech do you expect to see by 2015? Obviously we'll have wearable tech add-ons... watches, glasses, etc... "unbreakable" screens should be standard Phones with 8GB of ram and 256GB of storage. |
