In the same boat.

You live in Des Moines, right?

I come through there on the way to kc and have plenty of room to pick up 2 on the way there....glad to do that if you want to get tickets in the same row.

I will probably opt for single game tickets...fall is usually really busy for us. I will let you know.

He definitely identified the best one but I wouldn't say there were all busts - Dante Culpepper wasn't bad.

The job isn't done until we draft a first round QB.

My son just called me and said, "Dad, with this news I'm thinking I may buy a pair of season tickets if you and Mom would get yours again." It was a great feeling to tell him that he had already gotten them.
When I got the four earlier, I put two under my name and opened an account under his name for the other two. I'll pay for them, but they're his.

I just checked the calendar and even though it doesn't say December 25th, it sure feels like Christmas morning to me.

Awesome.

Well, looks like a no go for me.

New baby expected late July early August, so the wife and I won't be able to attend every game.

However, I plan on going to a fair amount of games this year, so I'll support.

I Won't be Renewing:( ...Finacial Reasons...Still plan on going to a few of the games though.:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

No shit. I'm finally in the Christmas spirit now.

I informed my employer today I would be unable to work Sundays this coming fall, and would be getting season tickets. He laughed his ass off and told me I deserved it at this point. See you ****ers there!

BlackHelicopters 01-04-2013 02:54 PM

The discussion will be had on Monday with my brother and our wives. Exciting.

I hope the rest of you can go out and show support.

When the Chiefs first into town, my dad bought 6 tickets and we went to every game at the old municipal stadium. We even found a friendly resident to reserve a parking spot on his lawn so we weren't blocked in. When the Chiefs made the move to Arrowhead, the ole man looked at getting a suite, but since he couldn't bring in his own food and booze, that was a deal breaker. We wound up in a corner of the nose bleed section. In time, he took advantage of the seat upgrades and soon we were in Section 118. He eventully sold the other 4 tickets to friends which left our seats in row 31(?) seats 7 & 8. We even won the Super Bowl lottery, but the Chiefs had to get past the Bills first. Since my mom passed just a week or so before, and the Super Bowl package had to be picked up in person by the ticket holder, the organization did make an exception, but we had to start our "tenure" all over again. That hurt! Over the years, the ticket prices kept rising and eventually, we just couldn't afford them any more and let them go.

One thing the Chiefs are very poor on, is fan appreciation. I always thought that they should have some sort of season ticket discount based upon tenure. Oh well.

Since we are retired and live over 150 miles away now, Chiefs games are no longer on our list of must-haves. I wish the team all my best.

Will you all be so happy if we go out and get Matt Flynn or Vick and do not draft a QB at all? How many will be happy if we trade for Cousins?
