The only way you don't think it's Michael Jordan, is if you have absolutely no interest in basketball. I don't watch BBall anymore but when I did it was just obvious. In his prime the man was head and shoulders above everyone else, there will probably never be another player as dominant as Jordan was in any sport. Some people will mention Wilt, but wilt played when basketball was mostly white people. heh.

Like you said, it's a highly subjective question. As an endurance athlete and cyclist, I tend to view the athletic world through the criteria that make up that sport and discipline. If the primary basis for determining who was/is the world's greatest athlete is the ability to dominate in various different sports, then obviously Armstrong is not at the top. |
