1. Firemen get to use their equipment
2. Insurance adjusters, agents and mathematicians all are provided job security
3. Cleanup and disposal crews, salvage materials and landfill workers are also further employed...not to mention the environmental specialists called in to monitor the smoke and potential contaminations.
3. Architects, Mechanchal, Civil and Design engineers all participate in the reconstruction, not to mention Zoning administrators, building inspectors and the fees they'll collect for the Govt Entity during the rebuild.
4. Excavation, Concrete, framing, pipefitters, electricians, sheetmetal, insullation workers among others, now have a new project securing their continued employment.

5. Workers of this plant will now be in better, up to date and safer working conditions, in a new facility filled with products manufactured across the nation.

This unfortunate fire has actually helped Stimulate the Economy.

Yeah for Fires!

Mathematicians?

I see your tic....but I would bet $5 that they don't rebuild at that site.
Your items 1 through 3(a) will all take place, some at taxpayer expense.
Items 3(b) through 5 will take place in China, or some other under regulated, low wage country. Say goodby to those local wages.

(oh...and a $5 bet is pretty significant for a tightwad like me.)

I was interupted during the composition of my wonderful and brilliant, hamasesque in its genius, failed to recall my intented word, Actuary....

I don't know anything about that particular company, the relevance to its location geographically(rail et al)......For most negatives, there is a positive.
