What if Brodie gets hurt in camp? Trent would have won the starting role by default if he was playing well. Brodie could have played like shit in camp, and Trent could have started. Trent could have just flat beat Brodie out. But he'd rather whine about having to compete.

And if he really wanted to finish his career on a high note, he'd stay here. Miami is going nowhere fast.....

Good Point.

We sipped pinot noir together at Dick and Carol's vacation chateau. We mocked the defense together. He did the best Eric Hicks impression, it was so funny ....

funny stuff.

I dunno though, we saw a flash of Trent in 06 when we drafted Croyle. He was doing the draft coverage for ESPN or whatever, and actually said something along the lines of "I don't know why we drafted a quarterback..."

...I think he felt the beginning of the end before even last season started...

Carl has fucked over the fans and the city of KC more than any player and you guys give him the benefit of the doubt more than not...

Trent is smart, He doesnt want to play for a loser coach, he wants to finish his career on a high note and he sees that KC is not the answer anymore... More power to Trent...

But his preformance in KC is by far better than any other QB in the history of the Chiefs... (except Lenny).

I KNOW!!
It's like OJ, a hero for years, then you go and kill one ex-wife. . .

ROFL ROFL

Good call, I remember that now.

But at 36 years old he had to think the end was coming in the next couple of years.....

Trent appears to be in denial.

One would think...

...but I believe he got a bit of a slap in the face there...then they fire Shea...

...he was used to being in the know, and having his opinion valued...that's the Vermeil effect. Reality bites...
