KU's greatest accomplishment will be handed to them and their best win will be against Texas A&M, congrats!

We're in the BCS Orange Bowl, bitch!

Bad first half for us. You sucked for the next 6 quarters.

Yeah, because if a team beats another team once by one possession its clearly the better team

I'm not sure you guys have been following this year. Missouri beat Kansas less than two weeks ago. I didn't think memory repression could happen so quickly. Mizzou wears Black and Gold.

It's the Aggies who are maroon and white, they are the ones you are better than. Better than the Aggies by, what, 19-11? That's only one possession, but I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt and say that I think you are better than them.

That may be what the final score said but MU handed us our hats in that game.

They only tested the old adage that the prevent defense only prevents one thing.... winning.

Why teams continue to use the prevent is beyond me.

You lost to OU TWICE! They lost to Colorado and Texas Tech. Put Mike Alden on the short list for dumbass of the year.

I'm sure we probably knew that Kansas can score at will, and we had to be mindful of that on every play. Despite being shut out for 3 quarters, we had to be careful in case they were playing possum on us or something.

Indeed. Oklahoma is the best team in the conference. We lost to them, but beat you. That makes us second and you third.

You lost to us, and we lost to Oklahoma, and they lost to Colorado and Texas Tech, and they lost to Iowa State and Oklahoma state, so Iowa State and Oklahoma State are better than you.

How come the Buffs didn't get the Orange Bowl?

For the same reason MU didn't. Ineptness on a grand scale.

If you can't fight stupidity with logic, fight it with stupidity...

You guys are acting like Mizzou is this vastly superior team... Kansas is 4-1 against bowl teams, Mizzou is 5-2.

Mizzou beat Illinois. Congratulations. It's a quality win that happened 3 months ago, to a team that lost to Iowa and beat Ohio State.... but their in a BCS bowl, so again, congratulations. That's clearly an edge over our non-conference bowl opponent, Central Michigan.

Mizzou beat TTech. Kansas beat Oklahoma State.

Oklahoma State beat TTech, so from everything I've seen on this board the past two days, OSU is vastly superior. Okay, it was only by 4 points and not 8. So maybe just 'normal' superior. So, Kansas must have the edge there, right?

Mizzou beat Kansas. Again, from everything I've seen on this board, Kansas is nothing more than a pile of shit that couldn't beat Sister Mary's Home of AIDS-ridden Orphan Prostitutes. But, 8 points is vastly superior nonetheless.

What was my point? Oh yeah, see... besides beating a team that couldn't beat SMHoAROP, Mizzou really hasn't done much more than Kansas this year. I'm not saying Mizzou didn't get screwed... I'm saying shut up.

I remember the last time KU was in a bowl game.

Mr. Flopnuts 12-04-2007 05:27 PM

You guys can take shots at each other all day long. It's rather comical. However, I don't think anyone can argue that Kansas is in the Orange Bowl ONLY because the Orange Bowl Committee thought they would travel better. Bowl games aren't about logic, fairness, or even the best match up. It's about dollars. Sorry some of you are learning that the hard way this year. Everyone knows Mizzou is a superior team to Kansas, they proved it on the field. The rest of this doesn't even matter. It's not like KU is getting more money. It's all split evenly between every team in the conference.
