My uncle is actually from Iran. He left right before the overthrow to come study architectual engineering in the states. His family was really close to the Shaw apparently, so he was never allowed back to Iran (though I do not think he wanted to return, other than when his father died). He is extrememly intelligent and speaks 4 languages I believe, and before retiring had one of the bigger architectual firms in Denver. Before you ask, he hates the Donkeys and loves the Chiefs... kind of odd, but that is the case. His kids love the Chiefs too and all are extremely bright. One was magna cum laude at pepperdine and works for some huge bank. Needless to say, they are the rich relatives.
