There's a homeless guy in Denver that will sue him for trademark infringement if he does.

Dang, I forgot about that guy.

Throwing poop is out too, he could get a class action suit from zoo monkeys.

Which is ok, cause poop throwing probably wouldn't attract new customers to a restaurant.

Maybe in Denver, but here? No.

Put some ****ing Tortilla Soup on the menu. Leave out bowls of tortilla chips and sell a wedge of cheese with the tortilla soup. Delicios.

Hey Halfcan, how far is your soup place from KCI airport? I might hit it up on the way back from River falls.

In the Financial District in SF there is a very succesful lunch - soup place.

http://www.sfsoupco.com/

They have sslightly different customer base. It is directed at business people for lunch looking for a quick meal. The diet in SF is different too.

Check it out for ideas.

I missed this thread somehow. I'm happy to give you some exposure in our newspaper if you'd like - if I figure out a way to write a story so it won't piss of my advertising local restaurants.

I've been working in Liberty so it's not a huge stretch. Drove through downtown Independence last week and thought about calling you but I was on a tight schedule.

You have anything low-carb? I'm trying to drop a couple lbs so I'll have to skip the pie.

435 South to Truman-turn east toward Independence, maybe 5 or 6 miles. I am on the left side.

Look forward to seeing you.

I was watching an episode of the Andy Griffith show just yesterday Aunt Bee opened up a Bee's Chinese restaurant and long story short, she wanted to change the menu up, was all beside herself on how to improve the place, she was in a frazzle.

So you might want to give it more time halfcan.

Just serve up some greasy burgers and watch people flock!

If you make some of your own chicken stock for the soup, then chicken salad sandwiches are easy with the poached chicken. Don't forget grilled cheese, use a couple of good cheeses + mayo + sweet onions and grill in butter.
