The problem could have been avoided months ago if the Chiefs had signed veteran free agent quarterback Chad Pennington and cut Damon Huard. They’d likely be at least 3-2 on the season, maybe in first place at this point.
Absolute garbage. are you serious with this shit?

How in the **** can someone say this offense isn't Herm's doing?

Mike Solari was around a great offensive mind in Al Saunders. Mike had his nuts cut off by Herm.

Chan Gailey has always been a decent coordinator whereever he has been.

He comes here, and it looks the same as when Solari was here.

This is common ****ing sense. This is why I will rail on you every chance you give me because you are dumb as ****.

Herm's offenses in NY looked the same too.

What's the common theme?

Herman ****ing Edwards.

Of course they are.

3-2 is what the true fans want. They want to be in first with an inferior roster so we could save Carl and Herm's ass again.

Signing Chad Pennington would have been a god damn nightmare for the fans because of that reason.

Who is the common denominator regardless of who the OC with this offense?

Yes, Herm Edwards. only GoChiefs is dumb enough not to realize it.

So this would be the Hermanation of the Ramzification of the Chiefs?

DaWolf 10-05-2008 08:56 PM

Herm has got to go. It doesn't matter anymore what happens from here on out. Bad coaching and management vs good coaching and management are what separate the Dolphins and Chiefs right now. Parcells knows how to win. Carl has no clue, and he hires people with no clue...

I didn't think Nick could top his blockbuster Quinn/Boldin trade idea. Clearly, I sold him short.

Hammock Parties 10-05-2008 09:18 PM

Hell the Chiefs WERE talking to the Browns about Quinn.

Mecca 10-05-2008 09:21 PM

Do people really believe this crap?

Were they? Quinn will cost more than Chiefs would ever pay, so I'm trying to figure out why your idea matters.

Oh no, Ramifization ended midway through the 2002 season when DV discovered that 2 of his best weapons were the uMartzy TE and FB positions. Ramifization's big push was during the 2001 offseason.

Hermanation refers to the truncation of the playbook, implementation of BucBall (keep the score down, try to win on a late FG), leashing of the QB, and R2P2.

I don't know which I am more disgusted with, the BucBall O or this miserable excuse for a D running Cover 2.

Hootie 10-05-2008 09:45 PM

sorry GC, but this is a pretty ****ing bad article.

I find the whole Cover 2 scheme ridiculous. Call me old fashioned, but I loved the man-up blitz-down defenses of the past.
