what does it matter if he had years left, the reports are he was fired not that he resigned, if he was fired he still gets his money and can go coach another team.

damn man i thought we would NEVER agree on anything, i've felt that if we were to draft a qb THIS regime would get him killed and we have no one to mentor a rookie qb. but the rat could probably pick the right guy and coach him up

I would admit that having the thought of Shannahan helping us beat the Broncos for the next years to come with Matthew Stafford at the helm and a great running game would be massively inticing. But it's Shannahan....
