Well I'm sure there are positions open,such as concessions stands worker,or as one of those guys that hands out the cups of gatorade,or ball boy, or maybe a mascot, or maybe a new position like handing out snacks/gatorade to the cheerleaders.As long as it has nothing to do with player/coaching selection ,it wouldn't be too bad giving the poor guy a job.

The most productive position Carl could be given with Miami, would be to have him dress up in the opposing teams mascot costume before the game, and sell tickets for charity which would allow each individual purchaser to beat him with a base ball bat.
