Scott Wright: Brandon Pettigrew doesn't fit the mold of what we think of as a first round tight end these days but just because he isn't a Kellen Winslow or Vernon Davis doesn't mean he's not a very good player. He's just different and in many teams eyes that's a good thing. Pettigrew makes up for what he lacks in speed by being a phenomenal blocker and I can't overstate how impressed with him I was at the Senior Bowl. Brandon has a lot of fans in the scouting community and he wouldn't be as much of a reach in the Top 15 as most think.

We are killing this bitch.

Eh his answer is ok but I don't personally think Pettigrew will ever be anymore than Daniel Graham version 2....a TE that isn't a threat in the receiving game isn't that valuable.

What exactly has caused Duke Robinson to go from possible 1st round guard to the 3rd round and not even the 1st player drafted at his position? If he was 1st round caliber on the field his offseason couldn't have possibly been that poor could it?
