Nostradumbass says: Broncos 23-17. Chiefs scare them with a possible game winning drive at the end, but a turnover on downs seals the game for Denver.

My belief in their demise may have been premature.

And lest we forget how bad Denver plays in Arrowhead regardless of either team's record. Even with the "NFL's best secondary" and Kyle "Pro Bowl" Orton.

Do I think KC can beat Denver in Arrowhead? Damn right I do. Do I think it will happen this week? I doubt it.

Seriously... any given Sunday, anything can happen. If you don't believe that, you're either very new to watching football or you really are a big blind homer.

Denver was served a nice dish of reality by the Steelers and yet somehow, the Chiefs were able to beat them.

All Denver has to do is play like they did against Washington... the Chiefs' players and coaches get paid to play as well, this is far from a gimme win especially in KC.

No. It isn't.

I don't mind arguments if the person opposing makes some sense and valid points.

It's tough arguing, and being level-headed with a guy like Knowmo.

It ain't about facts...it's a bout belief.

And he believes KC basically has no shot at winning this Sunday.

Strong belief I'd say. Is that a fart?

I concur... I won't say that Bailey is "the best now" or "the best of all-time", but he's very damn good... one of the elite at his position. It doesn't matter to me how people rank him or Dawkins... they're both full of kick ass and they play with great consistency at a very high level.

Agreed 100%. And you have been one of the more level-headed Denver fans on this board. It's just a shame some others are not. But, every team has those fans.

BTW, what has happened to PS? Not a whole lot of traffic there nowadays?

It happens... regarding PS, all I can say is "life gets in the way" unfortunately.

That's a shame and I understand. I enjoyed the site.

Well I have heard many, many times Nnamdi is the best CB in the game so yea that would mean he is better then Bailey.

In fact Bailey is 3rd in this article.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...cks-in-the-nfl

2nd in this article to you know who.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...s&confirm=true

3rd in this one.

Looks pretty consistent to me. Asomugha > Bailey

Every time I have seen discussions on the topic never is Baileys name even mentioned as the best. But you would know better. Who am I to even second guess the mighty Broncos and their fans.:spock:

You hang around with a bunch of players and coaches?

Bullshit.

Mile High Mania 11-30-2009 04:05 PM

Debating the rankings of players is really kinda pointless... Bailey is among the best at his position, has been his entire career. It's like debating Peyton vs Brady... they're both elite, both are winners.

All the rest is just fodder.
