If anything they would have kept Charles as a kick returner.

You mean something he fumbled doing and promptly didn't play the next week?

Back in October the Chiefs didn't look like they thought much of Charles.

Heh. Heh heh. I don't even know what to say. Glad it's not my $100.

Welcome to my thought about 8 months ago and they've still done nothing to make me feel comfortable.

1st source

Thats what WIPE wants you to do and maybe Pioli will get fired so a more media friendly regime will takeoever meaning more money for WIPE.

Ponder that.

Yeah, and they had so much depth behind LJ to just be dumping young running backs for 5th rounders.

Also, Jamaal may be the player he is right now because of what happened earlier in the year. These guys pretty much used the threat of being traded/cut/benched as tools to see who wanted to be here and fight for a spot and who didn't care and wanted out. Charles has pretty much admitted that the whole scenario made him realize he better take advantage of his opportunities. He's grown up a lot this season...

How many sources do you need regarding the entire roster being on the block?

Mecca 01-04-2010 12:49 AM

Grown up is translated into actually given carries eh? When LJ was here he got maybe 3 touches a game.

And after all of the ridiculous roster moves I've seen this year, don't give me this depth argument.

Titty Meat 01-04-2010 12:49 AM

I guess Belichick was a moron too. It took Bledsoe getting hurt for him to figure out how talented Tom Brady is.

That is hardly the same thing as what this article is claiming, but you know that.

Just look at Larry Johnson. The coaching staff got ripped up and down for their handling of diapergate and all that, but in the end they turned out to be the one group that got the most out of LJ.

No, it's really not.

If anyone other than Nick writes this, no one argues, because it was well known that Pioli was trying to get picks for any player he could.

Yes because it takes a shitty publication make people step back and realize that in 40 moves Pioli brought in 2 players better than the one they replaced and in 1 case it's a kicker.

This has nothing to do with Nick.

And FWIW, I don't have an anti-Pioli agenda - the few times he's done something I've agreed with, I've given him his due respect.

I've said countless times that I hope to hell I have to eat a huge, steaming plate of crow because the guy brings a Championship here.

Everything I own is for sale for the right price. But I'm not considering a scrub draft pick in exchange for something I have 1st day value invested. Sorry.

Look over there:
