If completing 8.5% more of his passes for 750 more yards at an additional 1.3 yard/attempt for 5 more TD and 5 fewer INT is "only marginally better" then I think there's a lot of people who'd've been a bit happier if he had been only marginally better in 2009, and who'd probably be fairly happy if he were only marginally better in 2010.

Matt Cassel would have to

a. become a hell of a lot better on the deep ball and
b. be more accurate, in general

Of course, neither of those things will happen so I guess I'll settle for sucking enough that all future hope is cast aside and we (finally!) draft a legit QB prospect.

Thats why.

I was wondering what Cassel ratio of under center vs shotgun is. to me it seemed like he was under center more late in the season. To me that's part of his learning experience. More reps under center. It might have just been due to the emergance of Charles.
