I really dont see the big deal here with what he said.
He's setting an expectation for his team. "I want to lead the league in wins." What is he supposed to do in a meeting like that? Tell the players he wants to try to squeak into the playoffs again like they did last season? As for the "We can beat any team we play" remark, Im pretty sure any team that actually considers themselves able to win a championship damn well better have that mentality approaching the season. The alleged "shit talk" is only shit talk because its getting aired on HBO. From what I understand the organization is supposed to go about things as if the cameras arent even there. Anyone calling Ryan a buffoon for setting an expectation that he wants to win every game they play, and instilling a mindset in the players that they can defeat any team that they play needs to wake up and smell what they are shovelling. |
That Cromartie shit was ****ing embarrassing.

would've drafted Cody instead of Arenas. Wouldn't have drafted Moeaki period. 1. FS Berry 2. WR/RB McCluster 2. NT Cody 3. OG Asamoah 4. CB Cromartie (via trade) 5. WR Holmes (via trade) 5. FS Lewis 5. NT Thomas 7. OLB Selvie* *Would have traded back into rd 7 for Selvie. Also would have tried to do everything in my power to try and reel in MLB Karlos Dansby. Eh, but oh well. |
Instead of talking out of both sides of his mouth
Wreck showed he had a backbone at the end props |

Week 3 great line paraphrased,"you're not focking Gonzalez, besides, who gives a shit."

I really have my doubts about this Jets team.
Accuracy is going to kill their offense this year without question. Yeah, he has some weapons, but the reads he's making in the preseason are awful. |

Pats win that division and Bengals and Texans get the wildcards. Mark Sanchez throws another 20 picks Posted via Mobile Device |

What harshes my mellow is that the Jets uncermoniously dumped 10 time Pro Bowler Alan Fanceca for 61st overall guard Vlad Ducasse and he's performing and starting.
Meanwhile, Asamoah, who was taken just seven picks later, is languishing on the bench. The Jets are becoming the Ravens: Excellent defense, running game, receivers and offensive line. Yet, there is little to no offensive production. If Sanchez doesn't have a decent year, B-Schott is a goner. |
I'm slow to getting into the show this season
it just seems to be less football and more ****ing around my dislike of the JETS may play a large part in that |
