Odds that Weiss has a stronger arm than Cassel or Leinart?

I haven't read all of the replies, so maybe someone has addressed this. But here is my concern: Now that we have supposedly turned Albert into a competent LT, is it wise to bring in a lefty and switch the blind side on the O-line? Especially when we do not have a very good RT?

(I know Palko was also a lefty, but he was not brought in to compete for the starting job)

LEINART IS NOT A STARTER. Even if the Chiefs bring him in (they wont), he won't be ahead of Croyle or Cassel

Socrates would be proud.

I have a hard time believing Wright has cracked into the Pioli/Haley circle of trust...

It'd be a really good signing. Leinart is never going to be a franchise guy, but he gives us depth at the position, and should Cassel become hurt, he can step in w/o a drop off in performance, and possibly, an improvement.

What makes you think he would pass Croyle. I don't love Croyle, but Leinart blows

My exact thoughts. Hes certainly an upgrader over Palko, and with Croyle being hurt every 5 minutes, it would be nice to add some depth.

Croyle was recently disemboweled while farting.

no chance that Haley and Weis are going to put up with any kind of drama from a backup QB....

seriously...

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-04-2010 04:55 PM

The only thing that could make this signing better would be if the following conversation, a la any 80's or 90's action movie happened and was publicized:

ML: "Why do you want me, Charlie? You know I'm done."

CW: "Because you're the best."

right, in arizona...he's a failed top 10 pick who was benched for a hall of famer

history and drama

if he comes to kc i guarantee halioli would make it clear what the deal is....they're not going to let a socal metrosexual upset their uber-'its-a-process' vibe...

I still don't buy it. I still get a feeling that Haley thinks Croyle can be the guy if need be for whatever reason. If they were so concerned about getting an improvement over Croyle and insurance for Cassel they had plenty of chances during the draft.

Besides, wasn't Haley the guy who was saying last year that he likes to play the best guy, citing his pushing for Romo to start over Bledsoe and Warner to start over Leinart?

And if they spent their entire draft looking for captains and leaders, why would they even consider this guy, who couldn't even win over the Cards locker room?
