There's a difference between sex in the workplace and unwanted advances. Usually it results in strict HR involvement because the organization knows that if there's a sexual harassment suit, they can be held liable and pay out the asshole. This is a different story entirely if the organization not only ignored the complaints but "fired" them for it. And it doesn't help that a member of the Jets' organization acknowledged that Favre is a pervert and got mad that they took it public, implying that this happens quite a bit and it's covered up with hush money.
What I'm most interested to know is if there were other texts involved and if the husband made anything that resembled a threat to Favre. My guess is that for them to make this lawsuit, they've thought about it from all the angles (that's probably why Sterger chose not to sue).
