Get back to the safety razors, and save yourself a zillion dollars a year.

No. I've never tried, but I think it'll use blades that fit in a Gillette.

I'm assuming the wheels are just to help guide it over your scalp.

Conditioner.

I've tried different moisturizers.

As long as I keep the hair off, I don't itch.

Except that having a beard actually keeps your skin better moisturized, retaining more of your natural moisture. It also blocks wind, which dries your skin more. The itch you refer to sounds like the natural process of growing it out. Power through, and it'll go away. It's temporary.

It's not temporary actually. If I grow any for a few weeks, my face flakes. Looks like I've been eating crackers. LOL

This is a recent development, over the past 2-3 years. I'm thinking maybe Psoriasis.

Ah. Well, don't blame the beard.

:harumph:

Seriously though, I wonder if something like a beard oil would help, if you were so inclined to grow.

I've had my beard for probably 15 years, with only a couple times having been shaved - once because my wife wanted me to for the wedding. I don't think she'd want that now, though. And once because I accidentally started trimming without the guard.

This sounds a lot like seborrheic dermatitis a doctor could tell you.

This is kinda a winter thing when many people try to grow beards and are indoors a lot. Get outside and get plenty of sun or take vitamin D.

I've had a Van Dyke since the age of 17, inspired by Kirby Puckett.
My hair looks like Dick Van Dyke's. All in all. thanks to the Van Dyke, I probably look like Dick Van Dyke's evil twin.
