I don't know ... our fabulously talented mods do a pretty good job, I suppose. It is certainly a thankless task which is why I always wanted to be one ... having, through the years, grown accustomed to never being thanked, and all.

Still, if the "short leash" included "never criticize a mod's idea about banning people as a fun joke", I'm not sure that's much of a leash. It's more like being gagged with duct tape and chained to a cow's underbelly.
