Shahon needs to go to Bill and say, name your price and it's a lifetime guarantee. Good Lord boys, we are in the Final 4. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!

It's never felt so good to say that.

I don't think that is necessary. One of the reasons Bill is so successful, is that he loves his job, and KU.

When is KU moving to the Mountain West?

KU has used this defense a few times this year. Nice scouting, UNC.

Hell, KU used it almost exclusively for an entire half just a week before.

What a game. Thank god the acted like they had actually seen a basketball before. Unlike the previous two games. It is a great day to be a KU fan.

Kansas has won three national titles in basketball. They occurred in 1952, 1988 and 2008. What do those years have in common? All leap years. Could this be the year for another championship??? Hope so! Rock Chalk!

Some friends of mine found out they were having their first child right before the final four in '08 and yesterday they found out they're having their second. IT'S DESTINY! NAME THAT KID BILL... OR TYSHAWN... OR JORDAN JUENEMANN!!!

I think Bill has a few more wins than that. I remember Self's Illinois team beating Roy's KU team in the NCAA tourney about 2000 or 2001. Oh, and Illinois beat KU in Champaign but I don't remember if that was with Self or before he became coach there. Unless, of course, you're only referring to his wins as KU coach vs Roy as UNC coach.

Withey's coming back next year almost assuredly.

After next year, he needs a lot more beef on his upper body if he were to become a lottery pick. As it is I could definitely see him falling where Cole did in the NBA draft.

I believe overall, Self is 3-1 against Roy.

Over the final 20 minutes, North Carolina was outscored 33-20. It didn’t make a basket in the final 5:46, and most of this came against a triangle-and-two defense. KU had Taylor defend the point and Releford, Johnson and Conner Teahan — when he was in the game — formed the bottom of the triangle, intended to bother gifted North Carolina scores Henson and Harrison Barnes.

That’s precisely what happened. They couldn’t get shots much less score, as Kansas used the gimmick for much of the game’s final eight minutes.

“Once we understood they couldn’t score in it we just kept playing it,” Taylor said.

While Kansas players identified the triangle as a critical component for the outcome, North Carolina coach Roy Williams said he wasn’t so sure.

“I know they did for one possession, and they may have for a second possession,” Williams said. “I’m not sure about that.”

That level of total lack of awareness is mind-boggling. How could KU run that defensive set for eight minutes without UNC coaches even recognizing it?

Damn, Frank is leaving KSU.

I liked having him in the conference.

Thought he was good for KSU and the B12.
