Should this apply to college professors as well? What if a 28 year old college professor has sex with a 29 year old student? Prison time in order?

Because I was curious I did some quick online research -- (and not that you guys care but...) Massachusetts has no specific teacher-student sex prohibition law. Basically if the student is of legal age, then consensual relations would be legal, though I imagine the school district would make quick work of the teacher.

I didn't quickly find a full state survey or anything to figure out how many states have laws like TExas.

That's not really true. A teacher can alter a kid's trajectory pretty significantly. Even at 18 years old.

Also, I seriously doubt she gets jail time. She'll have a record and be on probation forever but the fact they were all 18 will probably keep her ass out of jail (that and the 3 kids)
