I know exactly what you meant. He's not a #1. He's a #2 or #3. He was #3 in Arizona and he's #3 here. He's never played the slot and McCluster has been pretty impressive there this preseason. By far the best receiver thus far. We could trade Breaston and I wouldn't shed a tear.

im really glad our only bright spot on offense besides Charles is a midget convert slot WR that will get his 6 dink and dunk catches while we get beat by 20 points.

Another bright spot would be, after the first drive, the offensive line played pretty well last night and Baldwin finally made some plays.

I think McCluster can be effective, even more so if we had a QB that would throw deep and stretch the field occasionally! That would open up more space for him to work!:hmmm:

Cliff Harris, all american CB from Oregon, was cut from the Eagles.


He's had some legal problems which led to him getting kicked off the Oregon team, but maybe this has turned him around. I'd take a look.
