This is not a hard thing to understand. I know you are a homer but let's see.... W/Starting offensive line vs Rams: 11 carries for 39 yards W/Starting offensive line vs Seahawks: 10 carries for 38 yards There's no sign of the #1 running attack in those games. |
Its hard to be optimistic when you have been a fan since 1970. A team that had won 3 championships the decade previous has not been back since. They have only one conference championship appearance in that time and have not won a playoff game since 1993. What's to be optimistic about?
Every time something promising seems to happen for this franchise, your hope ends up smacking you in the gut. My Cardinals have had streaks of 14 years out of the playoffs followed by a 22 year World Series drought. That pain was nothing before what Chiefs have given me. |
Wow, this thread has made me all chipper and stuff... Woo Hoo, go CHEFS!

Charles 4.9 YPC. Elite numbers. Way to try and skew in Draughn's 3.9 YPC to try and support your argument. FAIL!! |

Charles and Hillis did not average 5 YPC against Seattle and St. Louis. This running attack has not looked like a top running attack. And in our most important preseason game it didn't even look good. |
LOL at you.
|
You're the one calling this an "elite" running attack when it looked like SHIT in TWO preseason games. The two MOST important preseason games.
LOL at you, homer. |
Spinning like a top

Hillis was running all over the Fn Pack. |

Love how you tried to throw in Draughn who has the lowest ypc of any back on the roster. Hilarious.

If so, you get this: 16 carries, 59 yards. Yes, the average IS ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME when you take out Draughn's carries with the first team. This was not close to an elite running game this preseason. It looked real good against Arizona. Other than that you're grasping at straws. |
NFC West stats don't count anyway. Can't believe someone who follows football like you do takes any of those preseason games with more than a grain of salt.
