Clark hasn't run the Chiefs long enough for me to say that he's done a terrible job. His first order of business was to remove Peterson from power, which was a good move.

His second order of business was to hire the best GM available, which at the time, was Scott Pioli. Can't fault him for that.

Lets see what he does next.

I absolutely agree with this.

Clark is not the enemy.

If you hire a GM who demonstrates an understanding of the importance of the QB position with a proven track record of properly evaluating QB's, then I'm fine. We'll draft the right guy, and do whatever it takes to get him.

Exactly. A moron who would pick Tyson Jackson at #3, and keep running Matt Cassel out as the starter shows that his judgement cannot be trusted.

Pioli has a mentality of oldschool game-manager type of football and we all know that shit only leads to mediocracy at best. (Besides Trent Dilfers' fluke team)

Geno Smith is the excitement and has the skillset to lead a team into the playoffs on a yearly basis.
Pioli doesn't have the balls to go get him at #1.

Typically a "rumor" means someone from the organization leaked to him and does not want their name used.

This idea that he'll accept a demotion is pure fantasy.

DO NOT WANT ANYWAY....

He needs to go away...

Surprised? Hasn't Hunt been preaching continuity?

A new GM = A new HC = A new QB.

But lets look at the history. When he hired Scott, he shelled out a ton of money for a GM and got the consensus #1 guy out there. No fault in that. He did his part.

cHunt didn't do his part because anyone with a ****ing brain would have looked at New England's draft and free agency record during his time there and figured out all of the success had to do with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, not Pioli.

Clark failed miserably and did not perform proper due diligence.

I can only hope he's learned his lesson.

The same Bill Polian that left the Indianapolis Colts in shambles?

No ****ing thank you.

Seriously? Come on.

Yes it appears now it was a mistake but at the time he was valued by all to be the top GM in the business. Clark did his job.

Now if you are the only one who saw it differently, congratulations. I suggest you try to get in the business since you're smarter than everybody else.

The fact still remains that Clark hired the #1 guy at the time. It just didn't work out.
