Why are you so insistent that the story came from Haley? If the head coach and GM were bickering over the gameday roster, other people would know. Like, say, the position coaches who wondered why the guy they thought should be playing wasn't.

And Haley suspecting his phone was bugged is not a "lie". It's also too often forgotten that Haley was not the only former Chiefs employee who suspected that he was being monitored. He was just the most notable one.

The fact that the Chiefs have kept Cassel starting is enough proof for me.
