I have a 1965 Mack Lee Hill autographed AFL football.

Plus one signed by 90% of the players on the Superbowl Chiefs team.

Has anyone scored anything good lately or found a honey-hole trader market you're willing to share?

(Of course, it looks like you have to register.)

It depends, if graded by a legit company, a high grade card can bring some serious coin. If its raw and kinda tough looking, $20 may be generous. Lots of cards out there, so condition is the be all make it or break it for newer material.

I found a vintage workbench in DBQ IA.

Works perfect for a kitchen island. Good patina, maple top.

You should get both of those to PSA/DNA or JSA. If they are legit, you would have something.

What would be the value of something like that?

Workbenches are great because they are perfect to re-purpose. Check out some of the values they are fetching on ebay. I know they want the top dollar, and usually don't get it, but it gives an idea where to start. I gave $250 for the workbench I just got. I figure that was a fair deal, considering I would not sell it for that.

If you enjoy art and such (I know not many of you do lol)
get 10% off with discount code "Chiefs", and if I do get any orders with that code i'd be happy to make donations towards operating costs for CP.
Thanks!

Be careful who you sell that too, not everyone can handle wearing the three wolf t-shirt.

I have these wine bottles that I bought back in the 90's. Not sure of the value since I rarely see them for sale online.

This picture is from some ad that wants $400 for the set. Not sure that they are really worth that much, but it's the exact same set I have.

Today was a good day of treasure hunting. I spent about 4hrs digging around 4 places, sold items for $260 today, before I list any of the stuff I was actually looking for on ebay.

Cool. What kind of places you digging around at?

Iowanian 02-09-2013 09:42 PM

Places where I see overlooked treasures.

farms, barns, junk yards, small trinket shops(where I am trying to trade items)..auctions.

I found a piece of vaseline glass yesterday at an antique mall that I think I've only seen 1 other one in the 30 some odd years I've been buying it. Frigging awesome
