McDaniels is the only coach worth a shit who would even consider working with that bald-headed prick. Not that Josh McDaniels is actually worth a shit as a HC. |

The only person that would hire Ferentz is Pioli. I like Ferentz, he's a great guy, but he would be a horrible head coach in the NFL. Even if Pioli somehow survives, I can't see how he can sell Clark on a coach like Ferentz. In fact, the mere thought that Pioli would try to see Clark on Ferentz should be grounds to fire him.
The reason Pioli is on the hot seat is his coaching hires. I don't know how one could sell someone on Ferentz this year. Now Nick Saban, sure. |
That NFL.com report is losing steam.
It was updated at 8am, 10am and 3pm (loose times). Article stated that Mike Florio said Pioli was staying. As of tonight, ProFootballTalk has Pioli back on the bubble. Ian Rape-a-horse says Kirk Ferentz has no buyout (he does, the contract floated earlier today is an old version) and that coaches are calling around. Not 100% accurate. But Peter King has shot down the Ferentz to KC rumors. I'm not adding anything of value of here but that damn report is breaking apart as this day gets longer. |
You guys ready for the site to blow up once this stuff goes down? Remember what happened here in 2008/early 2009?
