The average career is 3 yrs because there are hundreds of players that get a few games on their resume and never sniff the NFL again. Some get a couple of years holding down spots on bad teams until more talented players replace them. The guys that have the talent to stick for longer usually go onto have 8, 10 years, or longer. |
