WHY?!?

Neither of them improve this team at all...talk about wasting a pick.

I've yet to see a valid argument for either....because there isn't one.

I think the Joeckel stuff really hinges on Albert, his health, getting resigned, etc...

Star, I'm not overly opposed to. I'm about as ready to see Dorsey and Jackson on another team as I am Cassel and Quinn.

We have quite a few major needs, depending on how free agency pans out. I could be happy with a QB that they feel is the best, but I could be equally happy with Canty and Star coming to the DL and grabbing an QB at the top of the 2nd. At this point leading up to the draft, I'm not seeing that many QB's going off in the first round.

A QB would be my priority, but after the teams grades are realized and should none score that well, I would be good with the best player available.

Sorter 02-14-2013 02:24 PM

You realize that Landry Jones is the QB that's going to be available at the top of the 2nd?

Barkley, Wilson, Glennon, and Nassib are all probably going in the 1st round. Manuel could go too.

Hammock Parties 02-14-2013 02:27 PM

I would be shocked if Nassib and Manuel go in the 1st.

I think they go in this order:

Geno
Wilson
Barkley
Glennon

The only exception might be the Raiders getting all horny for Glennon's arm and saying "**** it."

Landry Jones would be horrible. I'm not a fan of Nassib either. Barkley, meh. Wilson would be worth the 2nd, and I wouldn't be opposed to Manuel in the 2nd either.

You really see 5 QB's going off in the first round of this year's draft? They might, but I would be extremely surprised.

HAI GUYZ, U SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED QB LAST YEARZ, HAHAHA DERP

Sorter 02-14-2013 02:33 PM

Teams that need QBs
Chiefs
Cards
Bills
Jets
Philly
Cleveland
Jags
Tampa

Of those teams, I could easily see
KC-Geno
Browns-Glennon
Arizona- Wilson
Bills-Nassib

I could then see teams like NYJ, Tampa, and even Minny taking a QB if they really wanted to. Minny should definitely snatch up Barkley if he falls that far IMO.

The Franchise 02-14-2013 02:47 PM

I see it like this...

Teams that NEED a QB:

Chiefs
Cards
Bills
Jets

Teams that could use another QB but it isn't an extreme need:

Eagles
Browns
Jaguars

So tell me which of these guys fits that description: Geno Smith? Matt Barkley? Tyler Wilson? Tyler Bray? All have holes in their games, and none is worth choosing with the first, second or third picks.

God this just ticks me off!

Got the 4th pick in the draft?

Let's roll with a QB!!! Great value at that point. Could be your QBotF!!!

Yeah, that's probably how I should have organized it. I'd add Tampa, Minny, SD, and Oakland to the second group.

I'm starting to think all these national pundits keep throwing out the "no worthy qb" drivel......because they want to see geno (or any other potential playmaker) land in the laps of a franchise (other than the chiefs) that the media is used to fellating on a regular basis.

Maybe Philly....Dallas.....Chicago.....or even worse, a raider resurgence???

Wake me when it's draft weekend

Judge mocked us Decastro at #11 last year and Aaron Curry in 2009. LMAO

Fortunately both of his buddies have Geno at #1.

Albert passed a complete physical already.

You so ready to see them gone that you'd use the #1 pick on a guy that's basically THE SAME? That makes no sense.

Buddy Nix, the Buffalo GM, is absolutely IN LOVE with Glennon's arm.

I could see him going right then and there.
