Every qb that has been in the nfl from usc since carson palmer, (pre knee injury palmer) has been not average, not mediocre, but horrid.

They are garbage, who benefited from superior talent at usc.

GARBAGE.

You can't judge players based on the colleges they attend. If you wanna do that then no one should be drafted.

Yea USC WR's suck in the NFL too anyone here not wanna draft Robert Woods or take a shot at Marquis Lee next year because of that?

Barkley has more leadership skills and far more experience, but he's lacking an NFL arm and the shoulder injury isn't likely to improve it.

As I mentioned earlier, I've seen people compare Barkley to Chad Pennington, which is great, if you want Chad Pennington as your quarterback.

If he could have stayed healthy, Pennington would have won some big games.

I'd rather have a rookie Chad Pennington than a 29 year old Alex Smith.

but, i get what you are saying. its truth, but i was just pointing out how those players have faired. I dont think barkley is on a completely different level than those guys. Im just not impressed with him....
