people fail to realize the WCO is a short passing offense JC will be getting the ball on short routes simmilar to a long hand off in space,so if your expecting bombs down field, its not what your going to get with Alex, the ball control eat up the clock, grind the other guy into the ground offense, with the occasional shot down field to the 9 route or the TE underneath the coverage is more like it,and a reduction in pics Smith he doesn't like to turn the ball over much at all.

I think Alex Smith is an upgrade. I still don't like it and would have been happy if we drafted Geno Smith #1. My biggest concern is if Alex Smith can stay healthy 16 games and if he can't what good is he?
