Try this one on for size. From what I have seen, Geno was to visit the Jets. Let's say the Jets were impressed enough to want Geno, but fear Jax is going to make the pick if we pass. Jets move Revis to Tampa for the #13 pick (and some more), but package the #9 and #13 pick to move to the top of the draft.

It's gonna be Geno.

In all seriousness, it could've been Geno if we had a 2nd round pick. With that pick gone I'm guessing Reid/Dorsey feel that it would be dumb to pick a QB at 1 then have to wait a couple more rounds to pick another player from an already weak draft. JMO.

If we take Geno at 1, we would still have 3 picks in the top 100 to work with.

Thats plenty of ammo to fill the remaining holes for the 2013 season.

No reason not to draft Geno.

Now, does that mean they WILL draft him? No, it doesn't...but it DOES show that their comments in front of cameras and behind closed doors may well be genuine.
