As a business person, not being open on Sundays is just ridiculously stupid. Chic Filet does it as well. They can only get away with it bcuz their food is so successful. Theyre squandering millions of dollars of revenue each year. Easily. I get the worship the lord thing. Just open the damn thing at noon. Gives you time to still go sing hymns and talk amongst yourselves about the devils of homosexuals.

It's on the plan when I plan coming down in May next year.

I'd put my pecker in a dirty glory hole of your choosing to eat there 1 time a month.

it was actually featured on the travel channel, best barbeque edition. (for DaFace, you probably should be able to on-demand it on your local cable)

Yeah, I saw that too and on another special about BBQ. This place has gotten some national publicity.

Let me ask you KC folks, though - is it really better than the old legends Arthur Bryant's and Gates?

Ugh. Never ever have BBQ with cheese.

Traditions are made to be broken.

I'm sure there are purists in the Carolinas who say barbecue should never be beef.

I've never had Arthur Bryant's, though I hear you can get lots of extra protein in their stuff. Gates is crap.

I are at Jacks Stack last week. It was good stuff. I'm not from kc so Gates and Jacks Stack is the only BBQ joints I've eaten up here

I think my burnt ends are the best thing ever cooked in the world. Ever! Ever...!

JFC you are even a homer on your BBQ, is there no end to the greatness of anything you touch?

It's not just the purists. Here in South Carolina, you will never see beef offered at a BBQ place. It's exclusively pulled pork - the only question is whether you take it on a sandwich or not. Also, the sauce is vinegar-based.

Yeah I've heard that. Pulled pork is delicious though. Every place has their own little quirk for BBQ
