Holy shit. That's awesome. Dorsey ****ing rules.

I'm not overly impressed with Dorsey's big moves... they've been so so, but he's been incredible on the scrap picks... which is what I care about.

Too bad we don't have a second round pick this year. Who's your choice in the third?

I meant second pick as in the 3rd round pick. Another players I would think long and hard about is Dominique Easley. Arguably the quickest burst off the line in this draft, including Clowney. He is going to drop due to injury concerns and being undersized, just not sure how far down he drops. I would say the 3rd round may be where he goes judging by last year's draft and where players with 1 st round talent tended to fall due to major injuries. If all he ever did for us in his rookie year was come in to rush the passer next to Poe on 3rd downs, he would be well worth the pick.

I'm dead serious. I was huge on McMillian in the 2012 draft.

Just because he's not right for the Packers doesn't mean he can't play in the NFL. I'm delighted that we're at least going to get a chance to see if he does.

It's a brilliant trash heap signing.

he recently worked out Christian Thompson but haven't seen news of signing him. Looks like he's well aware of the FS problems and gonna look at every phase of player aquisition on getting it fixed

booger 01-20-2014 06:04 PM

they signed the former texas DE Brandon Moore, Rutgers OT RJ Dill, Joe McNight, Jordan Cambell, mizzou DL Dominique Hamilton, Demarcus Van Dyke the CB who ran 4.3 at the combine a couple years back, Alonso Highsmith Jr....might find a bargain somewhere.

At the very least with all the futures guys they signed they will get good looks in OTAS and don't have to bring them to camp. I like a different approach like this in the futures signings and not having to fill remaining camp spots with un drafted rookie FA's. There's going to be some UDFA's don't get me wrong, but in the past they didn't look as hard at these guys from other teams who were decent draft prospects that were out there but rather brought back tons of guys from the previous camp. More looks at new bodies

Byrd or bust...

I have total confidence in this Dorsey guy, he'll get it fixed, and knowing him it'll end up being some arena league phenom who comes in and just owns shit.

Hey, that was LJ's rookie season number!

Commings was drafted by the Diamond backs as a outfielder. That's what they need at FS is a true center fielder who can run. But so was Jarrad Page, drafted as an OF by the A's so that really doesn't mean jack shit. I hope Commings can stay healthy and compete though

booger 01-20-2014 06:21 PM

Malcolm Bronson spent the year on the PS. He is a Jimmy Ward type FS at 5'11 192 but was expected to be drafted, run a fast 40, and be a sleeper before he blew out his knee early in his senior season at McNeese St.
