Nothing personal Flops. You were better before you became a mod.

Buehler445 03-08-2014 11:06 AM

Do what you want man. If you want out get out. If you want to moderate, moderate.

The people that are whining are involved in douchebaggery one way or another.

Sandy Vagina 03-08-2014 11:29 AM

I have not seen any reasons or actions that suggest you shouldn't be respected and carry on as a mod.

Bro, this was a better place when you were actively participating in discussions.

Why do you want to remain a mod? I don't get into any of the whine the scenes bs, but it seems like that kinda shit is beneath you.

I think you enjoyed the place more as just a regular poster.

Phobia 03-08-2014 11:56 AM

You toil over decisions a lot more than most other mods. You're trying to do the right thing every time. You care. That means you're more qualified than most everybody else. When people like Frazod lose their minds and throw everything away because of some stupid disagreement in D.C., maybe it was time for him to leave. It would have been very, very easy for him to have handled things like a grown ass man but he chose not to. It wasn't your choice. It was his choice. You can't beat yourself up over the path a grown man chose.

BossChief 03-08-2014 12:05 PM

I mean, really.

Who shoots a fridge?

I voted for you, Flop, but like others have said, the important decision is to do what makes you happy. If this job is negatively affecting your posting experience, then **** it.

Lonewolf Ed 03-08-2014 12:21 PM

As few care what I think about most anything, I shall refrain from making a choice. :harumph:

I think you're doing fine. I don't know why anyone would want to be a mod, though. Seems like a pain in the ass.

ThatRaceCardGuy 03-08-2014 12:39 PM

I'm a moderator on a car forum and it's a thankless job. For the most part people will always take issue with one thing or the other. In my opinion you do a great job; that being said I voted yes just because I hate authority! Lol.

This is why only Rain Main should do polls:

Thread title:
Would you like me to step down as a moderator of Chiefsplanet?

Poll Question:
Do you want Mr. Flopnuts to continue moderating Chiefsplanet?

TL;DR..... Ha, anyway, this is the part that sticks out, the boss being happy. If you want to stay, the debate ends on the boss being happy. If you are tiring of the BS, then step down.

I missed most of the drama the last couple months. After the playoff loss I didn't watch a game until the probowl. I almost didn't want to watch the SB either. I went to the hub for the same reasons I went to fatchatter. I like the idea of talking about anything without all the immediate second guessing, insults and other trollish behavior. The lounge is almost as bad as DC, in my opinion. I haven't "left" though. Most everyone has a couple sites they routinely visit, I now have three.

OldSchool 03-08-2014 01:27 PM

I voted that you leave because apparently you had more fun and the community was better with you posting?

Easy 6 03-08-2014 01:35 PM

You've never done me any disservice, matter of fact you've given me timely and honest answers to questions I've posed to you in private.

So I vote for you to stay on.
