2014 First Team All-CUSA: 58 TKL, 14.0 TFL, 3.0 Sacks Southern Miss Almost 20 teams were on hand for pro day at Southern Miss, and their focus was primarily for one player: junior defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches. Standing on his Combine numbers, Nunez-Roches did positional drills for almost 40 minutes in a workout run by the Kansas City Chiefs. Scouts on hand were impressed and came away feeling the defensive lineman had definitely helped his draft stock. After the workout, Nunez-Roches spent a large amount of time with the Washington Redskins. |
LOGAN, Utah - Utah State had 16 former football players work out in front of 20 National Football League (NFL) Scouts Thursday morning in its annual Pro Day.

INTRIGUING PLAYER UNDER THE RADAR Georgia cornerback Damian Swann measured 6-0, 189 pounds and posted a respectable 4.5 40-yard dash time, which tied for the ninth-best time among the 40-plus cornerbacks to run. What piqued interest surrounded what Swann told ChiefsDigest.com on the feedback he received from team interviews during his Day Four media availability. “Getting a lot being able to play a lot of different spots,” Swann said. “Playing in the nickel, playing on the corner, playing a little safety. I think that’s really what’s going to help me throughout this whole process is being able to play those different spots and get on the field.” Swann played in a 3-4 base defense at Georgia and said he was comfortable in a press-man scheme. At the time of his media availability, Swann said the Chiefs weren’t among the teams he previously spoke to. But that changed after his media session. The Chiefs held an informal interview with Swann before the end of the Combine, a source familiar with the situation confirmed Monday night with ChiefsDigest.com. One of the biggest difference between a formal and interview surrounds the time constraints. Teams are allocated a 15-minute segment with a maximum of 60 players during a formal process. But an informal discussion allows more time with available players in an unstructured setting. Other players confirmed by ChiefsDigest.com to have informal interviews with the Chiefs at the Combine are Florida State cornerback Ronald Darby and Louisville free safety Gerod Holliman. |
Will update soon:

There are so many pro days ill try to keep it to actual interviews or workout per kc coaches scouts, seems like the chiefs keep a lid on some of the actual interviews.
Actually hard to find press on the scouting dept of the chiefs but its out there trickle here and there. |
We still have the wave of official visits as well

Chiefs were one of eight teams at Montana's Pro Day.
I'm guessing it's for Zack Wagenmann, a DE who looks like a OLB at the next level. Wagenmann had the fastest 3 cone time at the combine among D linemen, though ran a fairly pedestrian 40 time of 4.82 seconds. http://www.kpax.com/story/28172163/u...at-nfl-combine |

Also only had like 17 reps of 225. Dude is quick and tenacious and I like that, but he looks weak and tested weak, so he's gotta fix that. 6th or 7th round, no problem, any higher I would. |
How has this not been posted? Tyler Lockett said he had a formal meeting with the Chiefs:
