Barely. Clearly not interested enough, as both those guys got minimal contracts.

Johnson got 3 years, $10.5 m
Harvin got 3 years, $24m which is really 1 year, $6m

Neither deal is for minimum wages, especially Harvin's. Bowe either wasn't in demand or was asking more than the general market felt he was worth in free agency.

Might wanna see the contract first....I'm betting the Browns overpaid.

I heard 2 years 13 million. Probably not reliable though. I feel bad for the guy. I mean, if it's all money then I won't. Get paid and fade away. I'll have to see the numbers. I wonder what we offered him to stay. For instance, what was his cap hit for us and when does the dead money apply? Because I'm sure he was offered that.

Guesses at what Bowe got? Similar to Harvin?

Neither deal is particularly lucrative either. Both are bargain basement deals for vet players.

The point being, this whole "har har playoff teams didn't want him" crap is reeruned.

None of those playoff teams were actively pursuing F/A Wr's with any sort of conviction.

We play Cleveland at home this season.
Watching him drop balls for the visiting team will bring very mixed emotions.

Has anyone discussed what we might read from the tea leaves when the teams he chose between were the Jaguars and the Browns...?

Yeah....because it wasn't reported that the Ravens were interested in him. Oh wait...shit....that's right....IT WAS.

You mean the vague blurb about how the Ravens might look at "guys like" Bowe and Mike Wallace after they got cut? That's what you're clinging to?

$6m for Harvin's recent production isn't a bargain basement deal, by any stretch of the imagination.

Look, I've got nothing against Bowe. He's just nowhere near the player he was, and so many of you seem to think he still is, and his market seems to have reflected that.

Or was it a top 8 receiver? I forget.

LMAO I'm laughing at your obvious dumbassery.

I don't think he's the player he WAS.

I also don't think he's as bad as his last season dictates, nor does he deserve the hate from some of these idiots who've been waiting for this day for years.

This.

I've already stated multiple times that at best he's a good #2 WR.

Didn't they just get rid of Greg Little last year?

How many balls do you think he dropped last season?

Why do you feel bad for him?

He just got overpaid by KC and had a chance to bolt to anywhere needing a #1 receiver.
