You think Charles is a durable RB that can handle high output carries ? He left the Indy game after 5 minutes, he got injured in the very beginning of last season, and now he is out with an injury.

You should look at where JC is on the all time yards list and how far off he is from being in the top 10. Despite being #1 all-time with >5.5 yards/carry he is nowhere close to being at the top in total yards. He is a VERY talented RB but he can't handle Emmitt Smith / Adrian Peterson / Terrell Davis amount of carries a game for the duration of the season.

This is a great lesson, though. This is exactly why you don't want the RB to be the best player on your team, as has been the case in KC since the Priest Holmes days back in 2002.

RB's careers are usually fleeting. They take a pounding and the likelihood of being injured is just too great.

We need a QB.

Yep, That way with our great Ol our QB can be destroyed and be in a worse boat.

Andy Dalton or any other top 15 would kill behind that line. Smith really IS that bad.

He's like the boar that just won't spurt no matter how lovingly you jerk him.

You're a ****ing idiot. He was forced to sit out the Indy playoff game because of overly cautious league doctors. He was on the sidelines begging to get back in the game. If not for the billion dollar CTE lawsuits the NFL has been facing, he'd have finished that game with no problem.

He was injured to start last season because of an off-the-field box carrying incident.

He's out now with a 1 in 1750 ACL injury that could happen to anyone at any time.

And my point stands: Jamaal Charles has never sustained an injury due to having too many carries.
