What great 1st round QBs have we been in position to draft recently and passed on?

You're right. Drafting Dee Ford and Eric Fisher is a much better strategy.

Do you take what's there, or do you take what isn't there?

This has been discussed several times before. If you don't know then I'm not bothering.

Oh, that's right, there wasn't a single QB available when we drafted either of those guys.

It happens a lot, every year by every team. Russel Wilson was passed over by every team at least twice.

at least they try. We don't even consider it.

The Chiefs acquire young QBs, they just don't want to take the time to develop them.

For as much shit as Herm gets around here, at least he tried with Croyle.

BigMeatballDave 11-06-2015 08:05 AM

Shit, same thing happened with Travis Kelce.

Justin Houston.

These guys are obvious 1st rd talent, but the Chiefs got a little lucky with them. Had Kelce not had the knee issue, he probably would have went higher. Same with Houston and the failed marijuana test.

Kelce had off the field issues.

So, . . . Rodgers.

Thanks.

From the look of it, Dorsey appears to have done a good job with Fisher in round 1 in 2013 as that draft was the worst in decades and Fisher is actually one of the few players playing above average football.

Marcus Peters was a great first round pick.

Dee Ford looks terrible. Sure he's still got time and he hs Tamba in front of him, but he should be looking way better than this.

Ted bridgewater could have been a late first rounder. So could Andy Dalton.

I thought it would be Kap. We have a history with 49er has beens, not Lion has beens.
