This.

We also should petition the NFL to let us wear Crisco, get to push their TE out of bounds in end zone as he's coming down with the football to negate a TD (legal today but not back in the '90's) and call a phantom hold against Denver on a FG...

Broncos...for sure. I am not impressed with that Brock Osweiler, at all. He has a slow, weird release and his mobility is by no means, Big Ben. Broncos will be pursuing a new QB in the semi-near future.

The Chiefs have proven that they can handle the Donk's other facets.

Well historically Cincinnati is on a worse playoff drought than us. They did however wipe the field with us earlier. We are playing much better now though. I need to see more from Asswiler and see if five head comes back to judge Denver. How about try to get the 5 seed and hope Houston wins the south?

Mile High Mania 11-24-2015 08:28 AM

I think a 3rd game with out teams would be fun, both lost at home giving up 5 turnovers - weird.

So much football left at this point, no room for error with the final 2 seeds.

BigMeatballDave 11-24-2015 08:30 AM

Shit, Denver will be fortunate to get the 4 seed. :D

I'm a little fuzzy with the nomenclature: if the Chiefs actually make the playoffs this year, will they have "backed in"?

No, quite the opposite

How so? They're 3 games up on KC and on the AFCS division leader with 6 games left... it's a near lock that they maintain the #3 seed and possibly could snag the #2, but we'll wait on that one.

Starting out 1-5, there wouldn't be a 'backing in' not if they continue to roll up wins... Colts, now they're trying to back into a division title.

Neat. So backed in implies that it only happens if other teams lose?

At this point, if KC (5-5) goes 3-3 (or worse) down the stretch and all the other teams fail to do better and then KC still advances at 8-8, then you could say they backed in... because they did nothing to gain an advantage while no other teams took over.

This is what's happening in the AFCS...

KC has gone from 1-5 to 5-5, so go over .500 in the final 6 and there's no backing into the playoffs.

Thanks MHM. It's interesting here in Denver, that's for sure.

Yeah, can only imagine ... has to be a split that thinks there's no way we do anything without Manning, but I think that's a minority of the fan base quite honestly.

Maybe Denver catches the Patriots on a good week with the injuries, how dam crazy will the locals be if Denver (with Brock at QB) can topple the Patriots? You know, this is the kind of crazy shit that happens in the NFL. That place will be insane if that were to happen. Brady is 5-5 vs Denver, and I believe most of those losses are in Denver.

It's really very simple.

I posted this in a different thread, but if the Chiefs win out and finish 11-5, then Denver loses to NE, Cincy, and Pitt, which could easily happen. Denver finishes 11-5.

Chiefs win division on better division record. :D

Hey, good luck with all that ... winning 10 in a row to end the regular season would be awesome heading into the wildcard weekend. What a letdown a playoff loss would be at that point. I know that 4 in a row is great, but that's putting a lot of pressure on the team to go 10-0.

I want ****ing Indy bad. I want revenge and kick their ****ing asses with a healthy team.
